Board of Zoning Appeals

The Board of Zoning Appeals (commonly known as BZA) meets as necessary and is comprised of five mayoral appointees.

  • Cheryl Vaughan
  • Cindy Yates

Key Responsibilities:

In addition to adopting rules regarding application processes and hearing notices, the BZA hears and determines appeals from and review any order, requirement, decision or determination made by the Zoning Administrator. BZA's also hear and determine special exceptions, special uses and contingent uses.
